Had a great time listening to live music. Cool atmosphere. No water at the bar? Had to buy bottled water. If I am hanging out all night and running a tab, the least they could do is fill up my cocktail cup with water...
The Deck is my favorite place to go out in Greensboro/Jamestown. I make sure to go every time I'm home. It has a very neighborhood feel with really good live music almost every weekend.
My first visit was so much fun that I look forward to going back soon! With a proper ID and $5 you get an annual membership card. After that with both there is no cover charge. The place has a great atmosphere ...lots of plants. It was very comfortable with fans mounted everywhere .Most of the place is outdoors... I felt as if I were at the beach. There is some seating but many choose to stand or hang out by the dance floor which is carpeted. There was a live band that was very entertaining and a lot of people danced. Dress was anything from shorts and sandals to dressed up...and no one asked them if they were going to a funeral or wedding. There was a wide variety of ages..it was nice to see some people in my age group...lol. Great place to dance or people watch. As a single female I would be very comfortable going back by myself ...saw no issues but there is plenty of security if needed. They have beer wine and liquor and run some specials. If you like a nice place go check it out.
